Discretionary Fund / Funding / Discretionary Fund The Discretionary Fund is designed to act as a dynamic lever, complementing our regular funding program. These funds offer flexibility to support one-time initiatives, finance immediate, urgent, or unfundable projects, and encourage innovative actions at the heart of social movements, community action, and advocacy. Granting Mechanisms Selection Process The selection committee determines the award criteria in order to effectively respond to the realities of the communities. The Executive Director, in close collaboration with the philanthropy lead, applies these criteria, ensuring the equitable allocation of resources. Monitoring and Reporting To reduce the administrative burden, no detailed reporting is required after the grant is awarded. Only a receipt confirming the reception of the funds is required.
