Educate to Liberate: Trans Women Confronting Transmisogyny

The Movement for Transfeminism is leading the initiative “Educate to Liberate: Trans Women Confronting Transmisogyny.” The goal is to foster an educational space for members and allies to address systemic transmisogynistic oppression by consolidating data on the realities faced by transfeminine people and by developing tailored training programs and educational materials across Québec.

Organized by and for trans women, the project is establishing a popular education committee built around three key pillars: research, internal training, and external training. The objective: to strengthen solidarity, equip communities to confront transphobic hate, and build coalitions rooted in justice.
