A report we took the time to weave together with many voices from the communities most directly concerned, in a spirit of listening, collaboration, and justice. This report builds on a survey conducted within the philanthropic sector, which revealed a genuine recognition of the issue and a strong willingness to act. We warmly thank our partner, Inspirit Foundation, for their support and trust, as well as the mandate holders and collaborators who contributed to the depth and richness of this work. Special thanks to the Observatoire des inégalités raciales au Québec and Dania Suleman for their contributions. The fight against Islamophobia raises difficult but essential conversations. It is a matter of collective responsibility that calls for courage, openness, and commitment. This report is intended as a tool to learn, reflect, and act. It offers concrete pathways for the philanthropic sector to strengthen its commitment to equity, representation, and solidarity.
